Of Teletubbies and Barney....

Why, i wonder y do kids, toddlers or even babies will have one favourite cartoon/tv character that they will watch over and over and over irregardless of day or night. be it as soon as they open their tiny, angelic eyes or before they sleep or like amaley.. all the time. he loves barney so much that he ever woke up at 1 am to watch barney vcd and stayed till 4 am!!!! really. phewww.... he watched it when he woke up, eating, playing, bored, before he goes to bed.... alamak its like all the time babe. and honey, we NEED to have our tv time also. everytime we are watching tv he would help himself to the barney vcds and will try to put the disc into any available slots that he can force it into. hahah... and he wud make noises i guess its his way to make us give up and give in to him. which usually is the case.... persistance pays...

so most of the time we will be hearing the i love u, u love me bla bla bla the infamous song from barney and his entourage. there BJ (blow job) hahah big john and baby bob. anyway, i read it in the TNP that ppl says barney is a anti crist or something... and that teletubbies are gay??? and the sun is the pimp!!!??? and that tinky winky which is suppose to be a male but carries a handbag everywhere.... hahahah interesting... whatever ppl claims it to be these tv animals/aliens are a huge celebrities with kids. inmagine t shirts, shoes, sandals, undies, towels even birthday cakes have thier pixs... everything u name it cup, mugs, bottles.. k enuf lys.... but there is one episode of barney that i likes the most its the cowboy vcd. i love the songs... and btw hubby and i are able to memorise the dialogue and songs of a few of the most frequent vcd tt amaley plays. "the wheels on the bike goes round & round... round & round all thru the town...."

last weekend, sis zila gave amaley a whole lot of vcds of barney, sesame street, richard scarry alphabets vcds... and amaley was like whoa.. totally awesome its all mine !!! barney and he makes noises like he always does.... hahahaa.. sweet. so when we reached home we played the damned barney vcd.. but its good lah in a way it teaches kids alphabets, saying thanks and please and counting all those stuff. and guess what?? apart from barneys and the other characters.. there's teletubbies!!!! hahah my fav... lala, po, tinky winky, tipsy and hubby went NO!!! not for amaley... he thinks its a bad influence.. bebual pelat... so he separates it from the approved set for amaley... and i kept my teletubbies....

as i typed rt now, my mind is not fully concentrated here coz i have been typing and replying sms and calling my friends abt a sale tt's gng on at coach boutique!!! damn it they told me only now?? at 7++pm??? by the time i reach there its closed. damn!!!!! and i am really in desparate needs looking for someone who wud be interested to buy the emporio armani watch

its actually a couple watche set selling at $399 for 2!!!! and hubby don like it coz its too small for him.... haizz............. b ut luckily i managed to sell off my new the latest edition of burberry's perfume sheer by burberry to my lil sis farisah. its 100mls never been used still in the box only that tangan gatal gi bukak kotak... hahah i tot i will like it but i don like it that much actually. after buying sheer for a few days, i bought incanto by salvatore ferragamo and i totally fell in love with it and many ppl approach me telling me how nice i smell... hahahha so ditcchhhh to burberry which sadly i din even use it YET. i am looking fwd to buying givency perfume that kak tini bought from duty free its a limited edition so when we fly out to bali next month i shall grab it....hahah btw we are gng to bali by end of jan and staying at Ritz-Carlton spa & resort!!! yay..... 3days 2 nights and after that we will fly out to somewhere else.. taht i leave to hubby to plan... hmmm psstt maybe we can go to LA??? hahaha nice try lys.

the best part of the day is that i am looking fwd to handing in my resignation letter by 2 jan 2008!!! yahooo... bubbyyee suckersss..... hahah and will be clearing my leave and ph hopefully by the 3-4th wk of jan... haiz... cant wait to that day....

Everything but mine....

first and foremost.. congrats to both cuzzies... for landing yourself a job at a new place.. yeah i know its belated... i hope u guys enjoy at the new place and may i ask but not being rude here, are we competing who changed job the most frequent?? hahha yana will lose out. its either me or suzee i guess... hahah anyway new place, new ppl is good for the soul, mind, body and last but not least the pockets... more kerrcchhiinggggg!!! tt's the reason why ppl moved in the first place.

i really salute hubby for being loyalto SIA Engineering being there for 7 goddamn long years... even when he thinks of switching job, i would go against it coz i WANT the free tickets... hahahha u promised me a trip to cassablanca... morocco!!! or else we shall go LA again plsss... i wanna shop!!! for bags and clothes and shoes.. for me and amaley... hahah i noe he wont be gng LA anytime soon... sob sob... i really hope our trip to bali in january is still on tho. i have booked the stay at the exclusive 5 star hotel... i cant remember the name... oh god.. my memory is really bad... alzheimers disease.. if i managed to spell it right coz it def not look rt to me.watever..

i was searching for this bsb song badly.. yana can u give it to me??? burn me the whole disc if u cud pls.. hahah i am so cheap. this song never fails to make me smile/laugh coz it reminded me of yana & suz bro rizal. he danced to the beat.... damn hilarious. lol. i called it the gay song coz the way rizal danced... totally gay dude but he danced nicely i liked it actually and infact i asked him to dance for me one more time... hahah guess i shld video it the next time and post it in youtube hahaha lmao.... funny dude hope he is more certain of what he wants in the future bro education is the root to better life.. ahha macam real jer aku nie... but seriously as a man, i think they have more responsibilities in the future. everything is gonna be expensive here in s'pore..

yeah talking abt $$$ taxi fare is gng up... is it good or bad? i do pity the drivers tho. they do not have basics, no cpf, no bonuses... here we are getting 3mth plus bonus and we are complaining how little it is and these drivers zilch! but soo expensive cant afford to take a cab to just hail and land our butts, already cost us $3 imagine if its the peak/cbd. i better get my license fast!!! i have yet to sit for my final theory and hv not studied... hahha and the grey, shining, suzuki swift 1.6 is waiting for me patiently.... once i passed it will be mine!!!! yes! and then hubby won be able to fight with me over the radio channel. yes... but for now... its tug of war wif him...

Greener Pastures????

how green'er can it be?? i hope very green... hahah and i am talking abt my new, soon to be work place...! Novena Medical Center
act the clinic I am with is Novena Surgery pte ltd and it will be officially opened on march 2008. I went for the interview and was accepted on the spot! What shocked me was when the Matron says "You are a pretty girl, its what we need for frontline/cust service" she said i am pretty??? errmmm shld i be happy? you bet i did... coz its so nice to hear that kind of remarks/compliment. tho mostly i get was u don look your age.... but most of my old ah ma (grandma for chinese) says i look pretty and i have the chinese looks and so far only 1 out of my many patients and its an old man, he is able to guess my age correctly not by looking at me but by the way i talk. and when i asked him how he managed to guess it rt he says i looked young but i the way i talk to him, its maturedly.. so there it goes 1 to many2 wrong guesses... hahah btw not looking your age have its pros and cons... ppl wont take you seriously coz they think you are not an adult or so.... and they think you are just a kid... i get that from my juniors!!!! who tot i am younger than them... they are 21 and the either tot i am their age or 18-19.. are they blind??? how can i be 19?? i must take a pix of myself in school uniform and see how it looks... and the good thing is... those irritating prudential agents on the street, they wont be looking twice at me... hahahah such a breeze passing by them....

ok back to the interview... the matron (who is higher rank than the nursing officers or better known as sister) saw my hobbies and caught her attention... planting.. "so what do you plant alisa?" hahah straight from my mouth "i plant chillies ...." unable to add more and she laugh and says well thats great you can bring your chillies for us to eat... and that was the ice breaker of the day.... and the interview went on smoothly and i managed to answer her question and that's how i managed to get it on the spot... no need to wait for their call, letter or whatever.. i was shocked that i couldnt stop smiling... and there is an allowance for beauty... hahah to buy makeup and perfumes.... how great can it be??? well it is set to be a world class medical center offering superb patient care.. the place itself is so comfy and luxurious... i shall take pixs when i went there for setting up.. i really cant wait to leave ttsh tho i am enjoying myself at ED... but like i said i needed greener pasture.... and to top it off its a 5 day week!!!! yeay!!! finally i can enjoy sat & sundays off... no more hectic shifts. over at ED we are doing in between shift apart from the 3 fixed shift that we have... and the off days are not fixed working at times up to 11 days straight....

Finally......

Gosh something is wrong with blogger.... forbidden??? and they say its an error... hey i have loads of stuff to upload kay,... alot of things been happening....

firstly, i am transferred from EDTC to Emergency department for good! tho all they both belongs to the same group.... EDTC is more to ward settings.... i had nightmares and couldnt sleep for nights thinking that i would suffer down there.... i even tot of 24hrs resignation!!! hahahah i tot that i would suffer and die there... with no one i know... well not everyone. hubby assured me that i might like the place as i like a face paced environment.... and the day i went there, i was on pm shift and i looked really sad but i tried to smile to ppl and even make new friends on the spot... i tagged along a filipino AN Percy... (cute name) and asked her to help me around and to teach me... only to find out that it was her 2nd day in obs (observation) room.... hahah but we had lots of fun sending cases to the wards laughing and gossiping... abt how heavy the patients were. i had fun that day and had a huge smile on my face. when i told hubby abt it he said he knew it i wud like ED. The next day i was on AM shift over at EDX (ED external) mostly patients with fever and asthma or suspected bird flu cases will be palced on the external area where it is an open spaced area instead of EDC (ED consulatation) room where it is airconditioned. so far my assisgnments at EDX is quite relaxed not much patient and could be boring. so i will end up gng over to obs room and help to clear the cases.

TTSH ED is one of the busiest and infact we are the busiest ED in singapore. we even close the ED for few hours when it get packed - meaning we wont be taking in cases by SCDF when we are busy. so cases will be referred to SGH or AH or any other available hosp. with the rainy season rt now, we have an increased nbr of RTA (Road Traffic Accidents) coming in. the other day the guy whose fiance died in the motorbike accident was sent over to TTSH and was attended by my colleague who broke down when she heard the story from him.....

i am still trying to get use to seeing ambulance coming in sending collapsed cases or family members crying/wailing outside resus room.... my heart goes out to them... i felt sad too and i tell myself its part of life.... i am not immuned yet to these scenarios and i won coz, i am moving on soon.....
